I was sitting here, wondering if you have asked yourself, just what does our new look have to do with website development, SEO or SMO. Let me explain to you how we came up with our new look for the website. It all started a while back when we viewed Seth Godin’s video about “finding your purple cow”. Deb and I put our thinking caps on and threw out all sorts of ideas. For some reason food kept coming into the picture. Maybe that’s because I love to cook and Deb loves to eat.

We looked at the things I liked doing like golf, fishing, cooking and camping (Deb is not too keen on camping — I think it has something to do with bears. You might want to ask her to tell you about it. You won’t be sorry you did!) Nothing seemed to fit. So we then decided to look at what Deb likes to do — fishing, cross stitching and eating. The only thing that fit was eating (did I tell you she loves my cooking?) We were still stuck on food – which led us to look at the way most of us eat. “Fast Food”.

So food it was! At that point, we needed to figure out how we could incorporate our passion for food, and relate it to web design. After hours of exhaustive searching – we found the graphic that jumped out at us – which ignited our creative juices and got us visualizing and thinking.

This is when the slogan “Fine Dining Websites in a Fast Food Lifestyle” was born. Our purple cow.
