Is Social Media Really Free?
If you were to compare social media to other marketing tactics, like TV, Radio or Print you might say yea, it’s free, there’s no cash outlay. My question still stands though. Is it really free? Not in my opinion!
I have always been taught that time is money. Your time is worth something. Let’s analyze. If your time is worth something, and it takes time to effectively utilize social media to work for you and your business…then social media marketing is truly not free.
Before you jump in and start using social media to market your business wouldn’t it make sense to learn all you can from a professional in order for you to utilize your time effectively? To make something happen that will benefit your company will take an investment of time.
Social media is only free if you think that your time is worth nothing.
The next time a web or marketing company tells you that getting into the social media is free, think about it. Those companies are thinking about themselves and do not understand your value.

They used to say that Social Media was for just for the youth. Things are changing, for the betterment of your business. Why? Because

With social media growing at an incredible rate in all age groups it is essential that you learn how to utilize your online marketing skills in order to capture your target market. If you are still using mostly TV, Radio and Print Media to promote your business and not engaging with the Social Media, you are missing out on one of the greatest changes since the Industrial Revolution.
Bottom Line: Internet Marketing IS the future of all businesses. Learn what is will take to be successful using Social Media.

Yes it’s true, Social Media is growing; but the question is, will it last? Is it just a fad?

- Most people would think that Google would have the most web traffic, however; FaceBook is the leader.

- It took Radio 38 years, TV 13 years, and the Internet 4 years to reach 50 million people, but FaceBook reached 200 million in less than 1 year.
- If FaceBook was a country it would be the 3rd largest county in the world.
- 80% of companies today use Social Media for recruitment.
- You constantly hear that Social Media is for young people, but the fastest growing age group on Facebook is females from the age of 55 – 65.
- 50% of the mobile internet traffic in the UK is connecting to FaceBook.
- There are over 200,000,000 blogs with 34% of those bloggers posting opinions about products and brands. Are these bloggers talking about your products, brands or service?
- 78% of consumers trust peer recommendations — only 14% trust advertisements.
- 24 of the largest newspapers are experiencing record declines in circulation because of Social Media.
- We no longer search for the news; the news finds us though Social Media.
