Social Media Networking Abbreviation Cheat Sheet

 

This past Thursday night, July 8, 2010 the Social Networking at Night group had a wonderful meeting at Natalie’s Sports Bar and Grille located on South Florida Ave, Lakeland, Fl.  The food was great, as always. If you’ve not eaten there, you are truly missing out! (Their chicken bacon sandwich is the best I’ve had!) There were over 35 people that attended the meeting; it was a great networking event!

Shipped on Time…Lessons Learned

 

It's funny that we can teach our clients how to market themselves online, but get so wrapped up in them, that we forget sometimes to do it for ourselves.  We can't lead, unless we show by example. I have a very dear friend that is also a client, and she reminded me what I've been coaching her on, that it's all about letting people see you, and know who you are…it's about being transparent. She said, "How are people going to know what kind of people are behind CF Web Professionals, if we don't tell you what we've been up to".

Equal playing field?

 

A current situation in our area has brought a burning question to my mind. Is money truely the driving force behind everything that we do?
 

Paula Dockery, who was running for the Governor of  Florida pulled out because she couldn't compete with the big money her oponent was able and willing to spend on their campaign.  Did we (the general population) lose out to the evils of money?

2009 Lakeland’s Lake Mirror Classic Auto Festival

We got up early Saturday morning and headed to Downtown Lakeland to see the 2009 Lake Mirror’s Classic Auto Festival. All kinds of cars were lined up on the streets and all around the lake. There were people all over the place.   As we walked around the lake and up and down the streets of Downtown Lakeland, we took several photos.
