Facebook: Fan Pages or Groups?

This is a question I get asked, more times than not. What are the differences between a Facebook Page and a Facebook Group? Which one best fits my needs? Let’s get started. Before you can have either a group or a page, you must have a profile page. Don’t set up your profile page as your business page, as you are limited to the number of friends you can have, plus any personal information you have put up will be seen by everyone.

Are You Being Held Hostage?
Over the past 11 there is one statement we hear that just makes our blood boil. That statement is…“I am being held hostage by our current web person”.
Are you one of them?
There is an unethical practice where a web development firm or a web hosting company will register your domain name with THEM being the registrant – not you, the paying client. You ask why it is so important that it be in your name. The registrant is the person that owns the domain name. If it’s not you, than making any changes, such as moving to a different hosting company or hiring a new design firm, becomes very difficult and time consuming. This unethical practice is commonly called “Domain Name Hostage”.
